Introduction
As the cop dressed, Ted began to feel pity for him. He was a sort of human being, having the right not to have his dignity taken away so abruptly. But this man, this public servant had abused his office and destroyed the self-worth of uncounted young men and boys.
It was only fair.
The cop said nothing because he was just in too much sudden shock to utter a word. It had never occurred to him that someone would plan a trap that would be the cause of his downfall. He had always figured on it working out—even in court. It was, after all, his word against his victim’s word.
But this time there were witnesses. He knew they had planned this and he knew he was ruined.
