Introduction
HIS STRONG FINGERS OPENED MY PAJAMAS
He sat on the edge of my mattress and put his hand lightly on my chest. For the longest while, neither of us said a word or made a single move. We just stared into each other’s eyes and felt the heat of desire flowing between us.
Then, as Buddy’s strong fingers began to open the buttons on my pajama tops, he murmured, “If I’m making a mistake… I mean, if you don’t want… .” He stopped and audibly caught his breath. I heard him swallow hard. “Just tell me to stop, Chad, and I’ll go back to my own bed.”
I reached for his hand and squeezed it hard. I was surprised by how cold his fingers were and how sweaty his palm was. Somehow, I hadn’t imagined Buddy could be as nervous about this as I was. I’d always figured he must have had many similar experiences with those Army pals of his he’d mentioned.
“No, stay,” I whispered. “Don’t stop. Whatever you want to do, Buddy… it’s all right.”
