I am so pissed at this book! Look at that cover. That title! As soon as I found out there was a gay porn novel called Satanic Suck, I knew I had to buy it. I’m old enough to remember the idiocy of the Satanic Panic. So finding out a disreputable publisher of gay pornography decided to thumb their nose at everyone and publish such an over-the-top ludicrous book made me happy.
So what’s it about? Lonnie, a happy-go-lucky New York teenager meets a mysterious new student in high school, named Ram. They screw. Lonnie meets a photographer named Bronc. They screw. Lonnie and Ram fight. Lonnie flies to Seattle to visit his dad and screws his dad’s lover (surprisingly, Lonnie never screws his dad). Lonnie misses Ram, flies home. Finds Ram with Bronc and they all screw. Fin.
What does this have to do with Satan? Nothing! Not a damn thing! The mysterious cloaked, but naked men on the cover? They never appear. This book is the worst case of false advertising since Lionel Hutz sued the film The NeverEnding Story.
In my heart of hearts, I hope there was a manuscript mix-up within the vast His69 publishing empire. That one day I’ll pick up an innocuous-looking gay porn book and get the gay satanic cult horror/porn mash-up I never knew I wanted.
