Pluck a growing boy out of his natural environment and he’s bound to suffer. Right?
Wrong! Young Garson Chandler was a pullet who’d been plucked and put through the wringer before he left his sleepy Maine village. In the glittering outside world, the plucky youngster doesn’t suffer for even a minute, although he does get trapped in a tangle of problems. Anyone who wrestles simultaneously with an ex-Marine officer and a sadistic hustler and an arrogant socialite and a crew of very available lifeguards can expect to flounder in rough seas occasionally. Only when the cruise ship takes on new passengers—a monumental tower of beefcake and a dewy-eyed teenager—the ride gets kinda bumpy.
Garson learns that some problems can’t be solved with even the most formidable weapon. Ted Porter, a boyhood chum with a weapon that darn near defies description, is no help at all in a crisis. Or is he? Ted’s “solutions” to Garson’s “problems” leave all the local studs exhausted, in drydock, and begging for more punishment. They’ll leave you feeling mighty happy. And their final adventure hints that the future is sure to be delirious for anyone brash enough to try taming the indefatigable, irrepressible, irresistible young super-stallions.
