Authoring has replaced patriotism as the last refuge of scoundrels, it has been said. That being the case, and it probably is, Bart Bradshaw had it made.

To Middle America, he was a dream come true. A clean-living man, a fine sportsman, an accomplished socialite, Bart Bradshaw basked in his glory. It had not been hard-won. In fact, it had come so easily that even Bart was surprised.

But behind the smile, was the leer of Satan, which occasionally gleamed in his eyes. Bart Bradshaw led two lives; the daytime life of a moral connoisseur of the Great American Virtues, and the night-time life of a vulture.

Before his very being was torn apart by the contradictory elements of his double life, Brad found himself required to swear loyalty to one life or another.
And Brad, who had never known a single moment of loyalty in his life, almost lost the battle. How he survived, and Brad was a born survivor, and what it cost him, is the subject of this book.
