As the fifteen-year-old lifted the silky top of his basketball uniform, he felt that holes were being bored through his small body. Larry turned and moved slowly to the water.

Barney Geppert looked over at the homely figure that had intruded, then turned to go back to his office. Although he was a large man, the coach moved lightly across the floor. His body was muscular and broad with just a touch of flab around his waist; not really noticeable unless he bent over. A forest of thick, coarse hair covered his burly chest, which thinned at his navel, then raged into another dark patch at his lower stomach and groin.
