FOREWORD
What happens to people in bed is often neglected when considering how people’s characters and personalities are formed. Human sexual interaction is often set to one side in discussions of behavior; as though what one feels and does sexually were not related to the rest of the person’s emotional life.
An individual’s personality is composed of many traits; the product of many factors. The author has tried to connect sexual behavior with the other parts of life. Through the character of Brad, he has attempted to demonstrate that what a man does with his body has an impact on the way he feels and thinks. And that, further, what he feels and thinks has an impact on what he does with his body. Brad’s early experiences with his father and his uncle had set the pattern for his attraction to older men and also reinforced his love for both. Now, many miles away from them, in the Marine Corp, his longing and need came to the fore.
