The world of the young is a secret place, full of strange feelings and even stranger actions. This was so in the K-klub, a secret surfing society rife with ambitions, jealousies and intrigue. A father and son ruled with iron hands… and the members could only guess at why they had been chosen over so many others. Had they been chosen for their incomparable physiques and smooth young countenances? Or was it their acceptance—unquestioned acceptance-of the leaders’ whims, even to the point of offering their bodies for all-male sex… Howard Jones examined this clique aspect among the young in his book Crime in a Changing Society, and found: “The first stage may be that he joins a delinquent gang.
