Introduction
My name is Doctor Henry Miller. I am a practicing psychiatrist and my office is located in a well-to-do midwestern college.
Last summer I was approached by the State Department of Labor, and asked to head a research project that they were planning on undertaking. I was most flattered at this opportunity, and my studies in the area of homosexual behavior was a great asset to me in my work, interviews, and conclusions. The report that I submitted to the department was graciously appreciated.
My study was most interesting. I placed an ad in the college newsletter. I was requested to study the effects of “first sexual encounters (homosexual)” that involved college-age students. I figured that if I placed an ad right in the school, I would get the best results.
My ad asked for volunteers. I described exactly what I was planning to do, and said that all interviews would be held entirely confidential. I have changed the names of all the people that I used in this book.
I have picked out what I believe to be six of the most general, most informative interviews with college men. I hope that you will find the reading as interesting as I did.
