Chris could have lied but the kid would find out sooner or later.

Laying on his bunk, Chris watched Tony squirm. Chris knew Tony wanted to ask him something and was trying to work up nerve enough to ask it. Saturday evening in the jail was miserable. Neither of them could be arraigned until Monday morning and there was nothing to do but talk to each other. And Tony was too embarrassed to talk.
Chris broke the silence. “What do you want to ask me?”
“It’s really none of my business,” Tony said.
“Don’t worry about it. I’m used to it.”
“Yeah. Well. What happened. Were you letting this cop guy suck you off?”
“Nothing like that. He was fucking my ass. It pissed me off that he came in me before he took out his badge.”
“No kidding? He came in your ass?”
“Yep.”
“Jeez! I’ve never even been jacked off by another guy.”
“You ought to try it sometime. It’s fun.”
Tony said, “You’re real nice looking. You could get girls.”
“I don’t want girls.”
