The copyright on this mag is 1983, but it’s obvious that many of the photos are from a good bit earlier than that. Some of the neatest ones are from the very early 1970s, judging by the (occasional) clothing and background styles. It’s totally “non-penetration”. And that totally doesn’t matter for how totally cool some of the photos are! Even the soft dicks (and there are lots of them) are interesting in the context of the photos they’re in. It’s very “California”.
Pages 12, 32, & 43 show a guy with long blond, tied-back hair and he’s kissing & smiling at the guy who’s holding him. The guy who’s holding him does drag—you can tell by his plucked eyebrows.
Page 6 has a longhair guy, and pages 25 & 28 have color, full-page photos of longhair guys. The one on page 25 is unique for many reasons. For one thing, he’s lickin’ the hairy thigh of guy who we don’t see more of than just above his navel. The standing guy’s nuts are hangin’ low—almost touchin’ the longhair’s fuckin’ face.
Page 39 has a bond surfer with a lei.
Page 31 takes the cake—it’s a handsome hairy guy holding and staring at a ewer vase of flowers. His dick’s soft and is matched on the other side of the guy’s thigh by a fuckin’ DOORKNOB. This was way before they could easily adjust images, and the doorknob just stayed in the photo. Visually, it’s almost as important as the penis.
All & all, it’s a very cool mag!
