Introduction
“I’ll get it on with you on one condition,” Steve told the director. “What’s that?,” Ike asked. “I’ll do anything you want.” Steve walked to the bed where Ike was lying and began caressing him. “Anything?,” he repeated, moving his hand onto the director’s erection. “Anything you want,” Ike said. “Give me the part of the lifeguard in the play,” Steve said, squeezing the joint in his hand. Dazed by lust, Ike said, “You’ve got the part. Now get those jeans off.”
FOREWORD
Young Steve Harrington was just too good to be true.
And perhaps he wasn’t.
He had joined the company of a Broadway-bound play as an assistant to its star, Rick Rivers, a leading man from the movies making his Broadway debut. Before long, young Steve had gotten in so good with so many members of the company, that he was given a juicy part in the play.
Ike Nicholas, the director of the play, didn’t like Steve. But he had to admit that the kid had a lot of power on the stage. And off the stage, too. Yes, Steve had what it took to make it big on Broadway. He had what it took—and he liked to spread it around.
David Alexander was the producer of the play. In his eyes, Steve could do no wrong. He made sure the boy got whatever he asked for. David couldn’t help being so good to Steve; he’d always been a sucker for young boys.
Jonathan Bloom was the author of the play. He was rumored to be the most jaded man on Broadway. And the second most decadent man in America. He was going to offer Steve an even better part in his new play. He wouldn’t tell the youth how good a role it was; instead, he just invited him up to his hotel room and told Steve that he had something juicy for him.
Clive Simon was the theater critic for the influential Daily Journal. He knew everything that went on in the theater—on Broadway or off Broadway, on duty or off duty, Clive had decided that young Steve Harrington was going to have a great career. And that he was going to be right there behind him
