Apparently there were only four of these Rough Trade “magazines”, and this one is my favorite—for two reasons. The main artist, Craig Esposito, has several drawings of assholes. In some of the previous issues there are plenty of BIG hard dicks, but sometimes, no assholes are in sight. Guys are getting fucked, but you don’t see their holes. He makes up for that here on pages 7, 12 and especially page 40. Granted there’s not much detail—he draws an asshole as a dark oval and that’s it. Better than nothin’ though.
The second reason is that one of the guys in one of the photo shoots is the cover guy on the book, Breaking into Leather (MPI-106). The book is available on this Hommi site, and I’ve always wanted to see more of the action, and this mag provides it. He’s on pages 27, 28 and 45, with page 45 being the most explicit. There we see a couple of dicks, the one of the guy who’s gettin’ sucked off on the book cover and the one of the guy in the cowboy hat who’s in the background of the cover. The guy who is doin’ the suckin’ is bound over a sawhorse. The guy in the leather jacket looks tough on the book cover, but he’s smilin’ on page 45. Very, very cool!
There’s a photo set with Black guys, and the story is very sexy and masturbation inducing. It’s a jail story where guys are forced to have sex. There’s a very slight element of raunch on page 45 where a guy is forced to rim another guy, something he’s never done before, so he’s a little reluctant. The guy in charge says, “Get it up there. I better feel that tongue all the way in…or I’m gonna take a shit right in your fuckin’ face!” Well, that doesn’t happen—the bottom guy gets with the program and “sticks the entire length of his tongue up high inside Manny’s dark, murky asshole.”
