FOREWORD

This is a moving story of wild passion and deep love between a huge Negro American and a beautiful Italian boy. Traveling across postwar Europe, the gay couple used their bodies to satisfy each other and their courage to earn the respect and honor of the country the black man had deserted for his young lover.

* * *

“I’ll be twenty-four next month, and that’s pretty old when a man can’t even get his hands down to scratch his balls.”

“I’ll scratch ‘em for you,” said Tony. The love affair between the huge black American and the beautiful, blond Italian boy began in an Italian hospital in post-war Italy. When Stacy was released from the hospital he deserted from the Navy to travel with his lover across Italy and France in a series of adventures and wild nights of passion. The odd couple would end up together in Paris, deeply involved in the black market. Trying to find peace and a home for himself and his willing friend, the American would eventually perform an act which would earn him his country’s gratitude and sanctuary for the lovers. In relation to this story of love between a man and a boy, R. E. L. Masters writes in The Homosexual Revolution: “If, as many now believe, almost half of all males have had at least some homosexual experience…then sexual inversion can no longer be justly regarded as the unnatural vice of a few degenerates.”
