FOREWORD
Jonathan Quigley arrived in town at the ripe old age of sixteen. With eight years of rigorous training under his belt he knew just how to cope with big city sinners. Big city sinners weren’t all that different from the studs who had trained him on the Academy cots, bunks, and couches. Starting a notch or two lower than the bottom rung of the ladder, Jon tongued and clawed his way upward. Rigorous Academy training saw him through every crisis–until a new element entered the picture.
In the seedy, palatial, cryptic, wide open, topsy turvy world of midtown Manhattan, the venturesome lad finds himself confronted with emotions he’d never been trained to contend with. To his amazement, Jon discovers that love can sometimes accompany a slambang session. The new concept throws him and Jon muffs his first chance at romance. Will there be others?
Young Jon is curly-haired, blue eyed, dewy, and willing and versatile, besides being hung like a prize-winning stallion. There are other chances, other encounters, more action than most boys can squeeze into a lifetime. A parade of dream studs line up, jostling for their turn with Manhattan’s busiest newcomer. Jon takes his turn with all, including the hard riding, hard breathing nightmares who infiltrate the line up. Meanwhile, a season of unbridled satyriasis subtly effects a change in the insatiable teenager. As we watch–maybe disapprovingly, maybe with open mouthed envy–Jon makes the final leap from the height of a Park Avenue luxury suite to the strangest fate that ever befell a paperback hero.

Synopsis by Eric Boyd
Sixteen-year-old Jonathan Quigley arrives in New York straight from Belmont Academy, an orphanage that didn’t teach him much at all about learning a legitimate trade but did provide him with a master class in fucking and sucking. So, when he finally reached The Gotham, a decrepit hotel on Barrow Street, it was only natural that he set up shop at what he knew best! But alas, there are those who would take advantage of a sweet-faced blond boy from the sticks, and in Jon’s case they do so in spades. Still, our boy has pluck and soon learns to use his gamin-like charms to his advantages. As he climbs the ladder as a young hustler, his clients improving with every rung. And when he starts a fling with three college roommates, Jon thinks he may even have found love. But he soon learns that nothing can bring a call boy down faster than thinking he’s moved beyond that life.
