Foreword

Over the years, Surrey House, Inc. has established its reputation by bringing you the best in male-oriented literature.

At the same time, we have looked for new and intriguing subject matter, often investigating professions which are male oriented but not considered “gay” by the general public.

Such a story is a novel about—of all things—the mailmen who do their thing in spite of sleet, snow and dark of night… among other potential dangers. Perhaps you’ve seen a hunky young stud delivering the mail in your neighborhood and wondered if he might be interested in taking a coffee break with you… or if someone else on his route may be offering him more than coffee…

Dirk, the central character in this book, is a fictional mailman, but we suspect that he is based on a very real postal employee. Perhaps the author himself, who is a hunky young mailman.

In any event, the factual side of The Male-Man’s Bag reflects the inside knowledge of the author. He notes that many mailmen today work from their down cars or drive RFD type routes in suburban developments where postal boxes are planted on the street curb, while others use rolling carts to hold letters and magazines and packages, and others still carry that leather pouch slung over the shoulder. He talks about being a “public servant”to a public that too often ignores him… unless the mail isn’t delivered on time! He talks about changes in the Postal System… and about being a husky, horny, young stud doing a lonesome job that offers some interesting opportunities!

Maybe being a mailman doesn’t strike you as the most interesting occupation in life, but wait until you’ve read this story!

And when you’ve finished reading it, we at Surrey House, Inc. hope you’ll take the time to drop us a letter about your reactions to this and the other book we’ve offered you.
