Salim smiled, anticipation soaring, as he watched the intensity in Karl’s bright, peering eyes.

“Aha. So, you really have no reason to hide yourself from appreciative eyes. I thought not, but it was difficult to believe that modesty alone would keep you enshrouded, particularly here.”
