Psychologists have long noted that man is a gregarious animal whose need for affection and approval is as real and basic as his need for food and shelter. This social need is reflected many times over in our everyday lives.
SUCKER BOY is the story of a young American boy, Jonathan Marshall Coral, a thirteen-year-old orphan who has been shipped from place to place ever since he can remember, ending up at an orphanage where he is even more starved for affection. It is only natural, then, that he eagerly accepts the attention given him by the twenty-six- year-old Floor Inspector, Bill Vespers. But Jon’s involvement with Bill leads to a chain of events which not only humiliates the sensitive young boy, but even physically threatens him. It is only after he meets young Marc Gillespie, a handsome, loving sixteen-year-old, that Jon holds any hope for the future.
