Foreword
For a long time Fritz’s eyes held his, and Jean-Louis was at a loss to understand what he saw… or to face honestly all that he longed to see.

In his book, The Homosexual Uprising, Book I, Man, Prof. Eric Karlson, PH, D., writes: “Homosexuals quite often reveal an ambivalence toward women, whom they either idealize or degrade. It represents a projection of the ambivalence which they harbor against their mothers, whom they hold responsible for bringing them up as “sissies” or for rejecting them entirely.”
For Jean-Louis it was a time of confusion. The state of his world was raw with tension and uncertainty. The opera star tried to help his mother to safety, and was soon dragged back into the world of homosexuality and Fritz, the German Colonel.
