FOREWORD
KEN BABCOCK’S CHERRY
Fifteen-year-old Ken Babcock, out seeking steady employment for the first time in his life, stops in at the Mercer Employment Agency, where he meets Robert Mercer, whom the reader would unhesitatingly deem as a “dirty old man” When Bob finds that the youth has only $4.36 in his pocket and cannot well afford to pay “service charges” to the agency, what develops is an entertaining yet somewhat debasing bit of homosexual erotica that is a slice of life as it really is in Los Angeles.
“… Come over here, Ken, and put your hand on this meat… ’” And when Ken refuses, he is threatened by Bob with a switchblade knife. “… Now suck it… Get down· on it and swallow it all the way up to the hairs or I won’t send you out on any job!”
Needless to say, Ken qualifies for Bob’s sympathy and is sent to Tony’s Gym where he meets Tony, Rex and Billy, and from that point KEN BABCOCK’S CHERRY becomes a four-man sexcapade involving fellatio, anilingus, masturbation, sodomy, a tinge of S-and-M, and a group of boys who love group sex, especially with all males, and it could scarcely have occurred to any of them that they were doing anything that was particularly unnatural.
