He was alone on the river except for a young, eighteen-year-old boy, who he only slightly knew. The youth was swimming nearby. After watching for some time, Lyle decided to join him.
The boy seemed anxious for companionship, so they spent two or three hours frolicking and wrestling in the water. It soon became apparent to Lyle that the boy was becoming sexually aroused—and so was he.
The young lad finally took the initiative and succeeded in seducing Lyle, much to his dismay. After that experience, he knew that his urge for sexual contact with young boys was a curse. It had been long suppressed, but he knew he could no longer control it—nor did he want to.
Since that time, he had been ever more alert to the little signs that indicate when a boy is interested in an older man. He had no interest in young children, and certainly didn’t consider himself a pedophile, but the search for eighteen or nineteen-year old boys was almost obsessive with Lyle.
He spent most of his free time seeking them out in parks, swimming pools—all places where they might gather. It was to the point now where it almost controlled his life, but he couldn’t stop and he was amazingly successful in his quest for more and more young male bodies.
