FOREWORD

In the world of professional sports recently there has been speculation on the rumored homosexuality of a number of the nation’s top athletes. To a certain extent, this is undoubtedly based on truth, for these men must undergo intensive training, often in crowded conditions, thrown together with other males.

These athletes are attempting to achieve that bodily perfection which rewards them with success in competition, and, unconsciously, leads them to worship the perfect male, plus the ideal of achieving that status of perfect male. Thus it can easily be seen where this worship could be carried from the mat, playing field, or whatever, and quite easily carried over to the bedroom and extracurricular activities.

Training Buddies is just such an incident, concerning athletes, and does indeed have its counterpart in reality, although this treatment is fiction of the most entertaining sort.
