The assignment Harry had waiting for me was not unusual, just expensive. It involved working a sex act with another one of Harry’s boys for the benefit of a customer who would then join-in “spontaneously”. The customer had sent over the scenario, a short if exact description of what he wanted.
“Okay,” I nodded, “nothing difficult there. Who’s this supposed “rape victim”?”
“New boy. You’ll like him, Gil.” He spoke into his intercom. “Come in, now, Bruce.”
I amaze myself, truly I do. I was so full of my own troubles, and thoughts of Kim, I was unable to recognize Bruce for what he was-my replacement. What I did see at that moment was a good-looking kid of nineteen, my height and weight or close, with wavy light brown hair streaked with blond, warm brown eyes, dimples when he grinned, a boyish face, and a muscular, athletic body. We shook hands in a friendly manner.
“You read this?” I asked him, hefting the two-page script.
“Yeah,” he grinned, those devastating dimples making his face even younger than it was. “I guess you’re the Brando type and I’m the rape victim, huh?”
“That’s right, Bruce. You object to getting fucked?”
He shrugged, his face coloring slightly. Oh! This one had CHARM. “Well, I’m not a virgin,” he said. Then he gave me a good long gaze. “But, I don’t think I’ll object too much, seeing how it’s you.”
“Bruce is rather inexperienced in our line of work,” Harry said through a cloud of cigar smoke. “I thought, for his first john, you’d be the best partner.”
Harry could be such a bitch sometimes. “Let’s go, Bruce,” I said. I’d gotten the name and address from Harry as soon as I walked in. It was a name with which I was familiar from the Shiny Sheet and other Palm Beach Social notices: Armando Ramirez de Vega, U.N. official for a South American country, wealthy in his own right and married to more wealth, wife stayed at home with the kiddies, he cut a swath through society from Newport to Palm Beach and back. Little did the society maidens know Sr. Ramirez de Vega had a secret vice!
