“The engagement of Miss Stephanie Bankow and Mr. Charles Wainwright was announced by the parents of Mr. Wainwright at a dinner party last night held in the Conquistador Room of the Old Mission Hotel. The wedding will take place, the couple said, before the month is out. They plan to take up residence in Searcy.
“Mr. Wainwright is an architect associated with the Los Angeles firm of Britton, Deem & Wainwright.
“Miss Bankow, who has just returned from a nationwide concert tour, plans to give up her career in singing to be a housewife.”
