Vintage Pulp and Original Gay Erotica
Foreword
We persuaded Roger Hart to complete another book for us. It wasn’t easy. You’ll remember Roger as the author of Husbands and Lovers, This young man has been exceptionally busy in the last year and a half. Among other things, he got married to a wealthy Chicago deb. Unfortunately, that hasn’t worked out and Roger is back in Old Town, pounding his typewriter. This time he has a wealth of experience to draw on which is brilliantly fulfilled in Come for Lunch. Marriage has not soured him on the world, but rather has enhanced his joy in the unusual pleasures to be found in a union with another male.
The story is about Gary Clark, an unemployed construction worker, who is drawn into a web of illicit involvement and intrigue with two brawny, sex-hungry studs who take him into their bedrooms—and their lives. When events take a serious turn, Gary is faced with a decision that will have momentous effect on his future.
Little diversions crop up along the way, as only Roger Hart can enfold them, each a foray into some breathtakingly erotic situation in which Gary is led further into the delights of the male body and new sexual experiences that awaken in him feelings that he never knew existed before.
Roger creates all this in rapid, lucid, sensual prose that leaves the reader gasping and wanting more.
