FOREWORD

Few people believe in slavery anymore, and of these few, it is doubtful any of them will openly admit it. But there are those people who not only do believe in slavery, but in reality actually practice it.

This may seem an outlandish statement to make, but consider the housewife who toils all day long at home — cooking, cleaning, looking after the children, and is not remunerated for her efforts. Is she not, therefore, in effect a slave, even though she might be a willing one?

And consider also the young men of many areas who think it is quite “kicky” to attach themselves to a “master” and obey their “master’s” whims devotedly and, in fact, “slavishly”. And the “masters”, though perhaps they don’t have the legal sanction to keep their “slaves” in tow, actually do possess a psychological power over them so tight that the net result is a state of bondage every bit as binding as it was years ago in the days of true slavery.

But at the very extreme ends of this spectrum are the people who carry the idea of sexual slavery to its absurdly logical conclusion. Extricating oneself from this form of bondage is extremely difficult, dangerous, and the theme of this book.
